GoodWater is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating solutions to global water issues

Quick stats:

-1.1 billion people, or 1 in 6, do not have access to clean water

-1.8 million children die every year from water-based diseases

-The average North American consumes 400 Litres of water per day

-In the developing world, the average is 10 Litres of water per day

Education, health care and general development are simply impossible without the basic necessities.

Let's change clean and abundant water from a luxury to a necessity.

***MAJOR UPDATE***

GoodWater is proud to announce the successful construction of two deep-water wells

The wells are operating better than expected.

With usual capacity being 5 hours/day, our wells are working between 7-8 hours/day.

Our in-country team has trained nine local women, empowering them to protect and maintain the wells. A small fee of 2 cents/jug of water is taken from the townspeople to promote responsibility and to offset future repair costs.

All in all, the Larabanga pilot project has been a complete success.
