Cambodia/Laos
The GoodWater Fund is proud to announce the expansion of our water projects to Southeast Asia.
Our planned initiative will see the implementation of hundreds of Bio-sand Water Filters (BSF's) in rural communities in both Cambodia and Laos. BSF's are simple and inexpensive devices that can purify up to 95% of bacteria from unclean water.
For this project, we will be working with Sustainable Cambodia, a well-established NGO which has already supported thousands of families with BSF's in rural Cambodia.
We will also work with the Community Development and Environment Assocation (CDEA) in Laos. CDEA has installed over 700 BSF's in just three years and will continue its great work with farmers and villagers in the Lao countryside thanks to our contributions.
